In the Studio w/ Leon Mobley!

Recently, I was given the opportunity to work with head engineer and director Alejandro Leda of Sound Spot Studio

This modern independent recording studio is ideal for engineering and mixing from small to big budget projects. I am assisting with engineering and mixing at Sound Spot and am excited for the opportunity to grow and further develop my skills in production there. The hourly rates are affordable and the staff is friendly and professional. Feel free to contact me or the studio for rates and general info! I just recently worked on a session for one of my productions (the song is a dedication to Haiti) at Sound Spot with percussion maestro Leon Mobley (Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals), who just came back to Los Angeles from a tour to Japan with the new Nas & Damian Marley project. Additional Engineering for Herbie Hancock’s Imagine Project

I am pleased to announce that, through my mentorship with multiple Grammy award-winning producer Larry Klein, I have had the distinct privilege and honor of working on Herbie Hancock’s latest release, “The Imagine Project.” I am thrilled and humbled to include this on my resume! Furthermore, the comping and edits of Herbie’s piano parts that I did were on a song featuring John Legend and Pink. It is entitled “Don’t Give Up” originally written and recorded by Peter Gabriel. Here is the song for you to enjoy!

Welcome to the new website

Immediately following Ozomatli’s lastest LP release, “Fire Away”, KCRW and Downtown Records partnered up to release Ozomatli VS. KCRW SOUNDCLASH, featuring the remix of Love Comes Down by Anthony Valadez, with strings by Miguel Atwood Ferguson, keys by I, Ced, and sitar + mixing by yours truly! My partner for the monthly OM @ Zanzibar and another great DJ at KCRW, Aaron Byrd, also did a remix for the album including KCRW music director Jason Bentley, Anne Litt and Tom Schnabel.  You can also download the track or the entire album here.
